The tribesmen of 17 countries took part in the next meeting of the Consultative Council for the Affairs of Belarusians Abroad under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. President of the Mary Magdalene Radziwill Foundation, Alexander Sapega, on the topics covered by the foundation - installing commemorative signs and signs to prominent figures in Belarusian history and culture, working out a map of Belarusian places in Switzerland with the Embassy of Belarus in Bern.
In April of this year it became known about a unique find: in the Ukrainian city of Chudnov, Zhytomyr region, a tombstone of Jan Borshevsky, one of the most prominent Belarusian writers of the 19th century, was found.
Irina Logvin: Representatives of the Maria Magdalene Radziwill Foundation visited Chudnov in order to establish cooperation in perpetuating the memory of Belarusian compatriot.
The Maria Magdalene Radziwill Foundation is engaged in charity work, contributes to projects for the development of Belarusian culture and education, the preservation of the Belarusian cultural and historical heritage.
To the birthday of Mary Magdalena Radziwill in the Minsk Church of the Most Holy Trinity (St. Roch) on Golden Hill, where the ashes of the Belarusian philanthropist were reburied, the Holy Mass and literary and musical evening took place: the organ and poems of Maxim Bogdanovich were played.
