As a result of the events 2017-2018 associated with Maria Magdalena Radziwill - transportation of her ashes in Belarus and burial in the Minsk church –there arose the idea of creating a fund, which would serve as a symbolic continuation of charity cases, the development of the Belarusian culture and education, the preservation of the Belarusian cultural and historical heritage.

Naming Foundation in honor of Maria Magdalena Radziwill is due to the desire of the initiative group to generate funds to promote recovery of good memories about it on its historic homeland, where Maria made an invaluable contribution to the development of the Belarusian national movement and the Belarusian education, gave his possessions and life to social ministry.

Maria Magdalena Radziwill Swiss Foundation was established in March 25, 2018 in Zurich.
